We are seeking an experienced Art Director to lead our art departments and drive the visual direction of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in game development and a proven track record of managing multiple art disciplines. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that our artistic vision aligns with gameplay mechanics and overall project goals.
Lead and inspire the art team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
Develop and communicate the visual style and artistic vision for projects.
Oversee multiple art departments, including concept art, 3D modeling, animation, and UI/UX design.
Collaborate with game designers, producers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive integration of art and gameplay.
Provide mentorship and guidance to artists, helping them grow their skills and careers.
Review and critique artwork, providing constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to ensure our art remains innovative and competitive.
Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that art assets are completed on schedule.
Proven experience as an Art Director in the games industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of artistic styles and completed projects.
Extensive knowledge of art production pipelines and processes in game development.
Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, Blender, etc.).
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics and how art influences player experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with both 2D and 3D art disciplines.
Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
A degree in Fine Arts, Game Design, or a related field.
